A robbery victim sought help inside Little Jim’s bar, 3501 N. Halsted, after he was robbed at gunpoint on Halsted Street. A quick police response found the alleged gunman described as a male, black, wearing a khaki shirt with a white tee underneath, in a group near the Shell gas station at the intersection of Halsted and Addison.

The victim positively identified two members of the group as the individuals who robbed him. The two suspects were taken to the 19th district police station “for investigation.” No firearm was recovered.

CWBChicago was created in 2013 by five residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who had grown disheartened with inaccurate information that was being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage area has expanded since then to cover Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side Areas.
