An offender armed with a handgun pulled off three robberies in 30 minutes early last Wednesday, netting three cell phones and a fair amount of cash.
The first robbery was at 2:30 AM in front of the parking garage at 3224 N. Halsted.
Minutes later, the second victim was robbed at gun point on the corner of Broadway and Oakdale Avenue.
Then, at 3:00 AM, the third victim was robbed at Surf Street and Sheridan Road, just one block away from the second crime scene.
