DNAinfo reports that two men are being held on $350,000 bond in connection with Sunday morning’s wilding near the Belmont L station, 945 W. Belmont.

Morgan Townsend, 22, and Deondre Williams, 18, face charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, robbery, and mob action in the attacks, according to DNAinfo.

As CWB reported exclusively on Monday, the 19th district had no police officers available when the soon-to-be victims called 911 for assistance with two detained cell phone thieves. The victims were attacked, beaten, and stabbed as they waited in vain for police officers who were never on the way.
