MUGGED IN THE PARK: LSD Condo Association Warns Members of Saturday Evening Attack

A resident was mugged in Triangle Garden at Sheridan and Lake Shore Drive Saturday evening,

Owners of units in a Lake Shore Drive condominium high rise received a troubling, yet important email today:

Security Alert

3800 LSD Owner Mugged

Where?
In the Triangle Garden, directly across the street from the building.

When?
Saturday August 3rd, 2013 at approximately 9:00 PM.

What Happened?
An owner at 3800 LSD was mugged at the Triangle Garden across. Electronic key fob and keys were taken. The victim’s face and forehead were cut.

What has been done?
A Police Report has been filed.

What to look out for?
The owner was attacked from behind and did not see the assailants so no description is available at this time.

Safety Reminders
·        There is safety in numbers. When possible, do not walk alone. It is better to remain in groups.
·        Always be aware of your surroundings. Avoid talking on the phone or wearing headphones while walking outside at night.
·        Try to stay in well populated, well lit areas.
·        Have your keys ready in your hand so that you can quickly enter the building from Sheridan Road or through the front door, even if the doorman has stepped away.
