A resident called police at 12:30 Friday afternoon upon discovering what appeared to be a porn movie filming in the alley behind 1800 W. Melrose. According to the caller, six men and two women were filming a video and “one of the men has his pants off.” Officers cleared the set.
9:40PM Friday, August 30
A concerned citizen reported a man walking northbound on Halsted Street from Addison, “covered head to toe in blood.” Officers located the man and checked his ID, but he apparently did not wish to have medical treatment.
3:20AM Saturday, August 31
Security at Big City Tap, 1010 W. Belmont, reported that a man pulled a knife on them when they asked him to move along. It is not clear if officers made contact with the suspect, described as a male, black, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a red cap with a white letter “T” on it.

Up to eight people were reportedly brawling in the parking lot of the International House of Pancakes at Halsted and Grace.
