OVERACHIEVER: Belmont & Sheffield Arrestee Has Been Booked In Every Time Zone

Let’s learn more about the people who cross paths with police officers on the streets of Wrigleyville and Boystown. From this morning:

Like so many 20-year-olds, JM was drawn to the splendor of the Belmont Red Line station overnight. JM’s criminal past includes stealing an iPhone from a suburban hotel guest in 2011. He has no current wants or warrants, so he was sent on his way.

Soon thereafter, PT was stopped by officers in the alley behind Sheffield, north of Belmont. PT is quite the adventurer. He has been arrested in all four U.S. mainland time zones.

  • Portland, Oregon, 2012 for criminal mischief/trespassing
  • Utah in 2009 for alcohol-related reckless conduct.
  • Florida in 2009 for aggressive panhandling
  • Philadelphia in 2011 for vandalism (he had a Baltimore address at the time)

At 5:30 this morning, he was arrested again because he has an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in a Lake County courtroom.

CWBChicago was created in 2013 by five residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who had grown disheartened with inaccurate information that was being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage area has expanded since then to cover Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side Areas. But our mission remains unchanged: To provide original public safety reporting with better context and greater detail than mainstream media outlets. Our editorial email address is news@cwbchicago.com
