COME HERE OFTEN?: Offender Walks Into Center On Halsted As His Victim Awaits Evidence Technician

After a woman’s ex-boyfriend allegedly bashed her in the head with a brick in the 3900 block of N. Broadway this afternoon, police took her to the Center on Halsted to await the evidence technician who would document her injury.

As she waited, the ex-boyfriend just happened to find his way to the Center On Halsted, too. Security officers at the Center detained him and police soon arrived to make the arrest.

CPD case #HW492578.
