Attempted burglary charges are filed against an Englewood man who was caught trying to break into a Boystown apartment on Monday, police said.

24-year-old Delvon McCune is charged with one felony count of attempted residential burglary for trying to break through the rear door of the victim’s home in the 800 block of West Aldine around 7:20 p.m., police said.
A woman who lives in the building called 911 after seeing McCune on her fire escape, we reported early Tuesday.
Cops arrived quickly and arrested him nearby after he tried to break into the building, according to prosecutors.
McCune’s bail is set at $200,000.
In 2014, McCune was charged with theft and criminal trespass to vehicles in the 3100 block of North Clark. The dispositions of those cases were not immediately available this morning.
Also Monday, police apprehended another burglar in the 1700 block of West Melrose. Parolee Kaavar Venson was charged with burglary in that case yesterday.

Despite the two high-profile arrests, more home burglaries are being reported this week.
A first-floor apartment in the 3700 block of North Lakewood was reported burglarized Tuesday evening.
Also Tuesday, two apartments in the 2800 block of North Cambridge were forcibly entered and burglarized, according to police records.
