Arrest made, gun recovered after woman’s robbed in Old Town

One offender is in custody and charges are pending after two men robbed a woman at gunpoint inside an Old Town parking garage on Monday afternoon, police said. The second robber remains at large.

Police responded to the 1200 block of North Wells after bystanders called 911 for the 52-year-old victim around 2 p.m.

The woman told officers that two men approached her as she placed items in her car inside the garage. One offender put a gun to the woman’s head and demanded her property, police said. The other reportedly reached into her car and took valuables. Both offenders then ran from the scene.
