Carjackers who stole a woman’s car in Boystown on Friday evening also got away with some precious cargo that was sitting in the SUV’s back seat: an adopted cat. Now, a $5,000 reward is being offered for information that brings the stolen tabby back home.

Serial robber targeted at least 4 businesses over weekend

A serial robbery offender held up three businesses in Lakeview and Uptown on Sunday. The same man is suspected of targeting another store in Lincoln Square on Saturday, and he has been linked to at least four similar crimes on the North Side since August 24.
