2 arrested, guns seized following brawl in Mag Mile department store

Police seized three handguns and arrested two people Friday afternoon after a fight broke out between two groups inside a tony Mag Mile department store, according to a CPD report.

Officers responded to multiple calls of a group brawling on the fourth floor of Neiman Marcus, 737 North Michigan, around 2:20 p.m. Some of the 911 callers reported seeing a handgun displayed and people yelling, “he has a gun.”

Just before police arrived, one of the groups reportedly ran out of Neiman Marcus and entered Saks Fifth Avenue across the street.

Cops flushed the groups out of both stores, and two people were arrested at Saks, according to initial information.

Tonight, the Chicago Police Department tweeted a photo of three handguns allegedly seized from the two arrestees.
