Cops seek 2 men in River West apartment party slaying

Chicago police detectives on Sunday released surveillance images of two men and a vehicle that they’ve linked to a September 2020 murder at a short-term rental apartment party in River West.

According to the police, the two men in the images and 34-year-old Patrick Clinton attended a party in a nightly rental unit at 728 North Morgan until around 3:20 a.m. on September 12.

Police said the suspect seen dressed in a black hoodie with a gold Air Jordan logo pointed a gun at Clinton as he left the party and the suspect seen wearing all black clothing tried to grab Clinton

When Clinton pulled away from the second man, the suspect in the Air Jordan sweatshirt fired two rounds, killing him, according to police.

The two offenders then drove away in a gray or silver sedan, investigators said.
