Cops seek peeping Tom who leered at kids near Old Town elementary school

Police are asking for help as they try to catch a man who allegedly pleasured himself while watching children arrive for classes at an Old Town elementary school and peeping into a nearby home this week.

Detectives released images of the man in a community alert on Thursday evening.

They said he rode his bike into an alley on the 200 block of West Scott around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday. He dismounted, dropped his pants, and began masturbating while looking at students arriving for school at Franklin Fine Arts Center.

After about two minutes, a nearby resident confronted the man when he peeked into their window, police said.

Police said the man is White, 30- to 35-years-old, 160 pounds, with brown hair. He wore a black Adidas hoodie with black sweatpants.
