FBI looking for Boystown bank robber

The FBI is offering a modest reward for information that leads them directly to the man who robbed a Boystown bank branch on Monday afternoon.

At 3:51 p.m., the robber walked into the BMO Harris Bank branch at 3601 North Halsted with a heavy winter coat’s hood pulled over his head. He handed a note to the teller and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The agency released these four surveillance images of the suspect:

According to an FBI bulletin, the robber is a Black male who stands about 6-feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He wore a blue jacket with a fur-lined hood, a dark mask, and dark-colored pants.

Anyone with information about the robber can contact the FBI’s Chicago office at 312-421-6700. The agency is offering up to $1,000 for tips that lead them to the man.
