Man shot while driving in Albany Park

A 31-year-old man is in fair condition after someone shot him as he drove in Albany Park on Sunday evening, police said. No arrests have been made.

The victim was driving on the 3200 block of West Wilson in a Cadillac sedan when someone opened fire on him from a black SUV that was passing by, according to a CPD report. Bullets struck the victim in his arm and abdomen.

EMS took him to St. Francis Hospital for treatment.

Investigators found at least eleven shell casings in the street.

Area Five detectives are handling the investigation.
