Doorbell camera recorded woman getting mugged in Lakeview on Sunday afternoon

Chicago police are investigating a brazen daylight robbery that unfolded in Lakeview on Sunday afternoon. The attack was captured on a resident’s doorbell surveillance camera.

A 45-year-old woman was walking in the 2900 block of North Seeley when a black sedan pulled up just before 3 p.m. Three men wearing hoodies and masks knocked the woman to the ground and robbed her while at least one brandished a handgun.

They took the woman’s fanny pack, which contained her wallet, keys, and phone, then drove away in the car.
