CHICAGO — Two men are hospitalized after they were stabbed inside a Rogers Park apartment last night, Chicago police said. A suspect is in custody.
The victims, ages 33 and 49, know the man who stabbed them, a police spokesperson said.
They were all arguing in the 7300 block of North Damen when the offender pulled out a knife around 8:25 p.m. on Sunday. An officer said they found a large crime scene inside the apartment and on a sidewalk outside the apartment building.
The older man is in fair condition at St. Francis Hospital with injuries that include a laceration to his face. Also at St. Francis, the younger man is in critical condition with stab wounds to his abdomen and chest.
Police arrested the suspect nearby and took him into custody. CPD did not reveal how the men knew each other.
