2 men robbed CTA passenger in the Loop, Chicago police say

CHICAGO — Mass Transit detectives released surveillance images on Sunday of two men wanted for robbing a CTA passenger in the Loop.

The pair approached a man on the Green Line near Washington-Wabash, 29 North Wabash, at about 1:21 a.m. Monday, according to the Chicago police bulletin. They implied that they had a firearm and demanded the man’s property, police said. Both fled from the train after getting the victim’s valuables.

Both men are between 18 and 30 years old.

Police said one had twists in his hair, stood 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall, and weighed 140 to 150 pounds. An earlier description shared among police officers said he has tattoos on his face.
