4 men mugged Red Line passenger in Lakeview, Chicago police say

Chicago police are looking for a group of men who robbed a CTA passenger at the Belmont Red Line station in Lakeview this week. CPD released information on Sunday morning that the robbery occurred around 3:36 p.m. Wednesday, while the victim was on a southbound train.

Witnesses initially reported that men were fighting on the platform, but police say it was actually a robbery. The offenders, all between 18 and 25, took the man’s property and fled.
