CHICAGO — In an unusual bulletin, Chicago police are asking the public to help them identify a woman who broke several CTA train windows with a frying pan.

Mass Transit detectives frequently release videos and pictures of suspects in robberies and other violent crimes. But Friday’s frying pan caper is now in the mix.

According to CPD, the woman seen in these CTA surveillance images swung a skillet at several windows on a Red Line train car near 87th Street just after midnight last Thursday, March 28.

The alert said she is 20 to 30 years old and 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall.

If you know her, investigators would love to hear from you. They’re at 312-745-4706.
