CHICAGO — Crash-and-grab burglars targeted a smoke shop in Wicker Park on Wednesday morning. No arrests have been made.

Witnesses saw a maroon SUV plow through the security gate that is supposed to protect the storefront at Smoke Time, 1850 West Division, around 4:05 a.m.

They saw four men, all wearing masks and black hoodies, get out of the SUV and a black Jeep Cherokee to burglarize the store.

Both vehicles were seen heading west on Division after the break-in. Cops spotted the Jeep on Western Avenue shortly after the burglary was reported. They followed the vehicle for a while but did not pursue it. One officer said the driver was a White or Hispanic man wearing a black mask.
