CHICAGO — Four-time convicted felon Davon Fullilove had ten felony cases pending in three states when he robbed a woman near Chicago’s Union Station in 2023. He can rest easy now, knowing that five of those cases are now behind him.
He resolved them by pleading guilty to armed robbery in exchange for a nine-year prison sentence. Judge Michael Clancy gave him two concurrent three-year sentences for felony theft cases he had pending in the suburbs. Prosecutors dropped two other suburban theft cases.
Fullilove, 29, met the 24-year-old robbery victim on a dating app and offered her a ride to the train station on June 5, 2023, officials said. As they neared the train station, Fullilove pulled the car over.
“I am not going to lie,” he allegedly told the woman as he pulled a gun from under his seat. “Leave your phone and get out of the car, or I am going to shoot you.”
He was generous enough to give the woman permission to retrieve her travel bag from his car, but then he drove away before she could do so, the report said.
Later, Fullilove used the woman’s phone to transfer money from her Chime and CashApp accounts to himself, prosecutors alleged. CPD officers arrested Fullilove after the woman identified him in a photo lineup.
The theft cases involved allegations that Fullilove stole phones, purses, and an Apple Watch from victims at Beaubien Woods Forest Preserve on May 6, July 21, and October 9, 2023; from a CVS in Oak Forest in August of that year; and from Honey Bear Cafe in Lansing on June 3, 2023.
