Police said a masked man walked into the currency exchange, displayed a handgun and demanded money around 12:15 p.m. Employees activated an alarm and took cover behind the counter.
The North Center burglar has been entering homes through unlocked windows during the morning and afternoon hours, police said. In one case, he pushed a window air conditioner unit into the home and then climbed in.
