Chicago police have identified the man who died in a triple-shooting incident Friday evening less than a half-mile from Rahm Emanuel’s home.
Pablo Ulloa, 25, allegedly opened fire and struck two men during a “party” inside an apartment at Damen and Belle Plaine. Police say one of the two men returned fire, fatally striking Ulloa in the chest.

As CWB Chicago reported exclusively yesterday morning, Ulloa was a known member of the Latin Kings street gang who frequented the area of Lawrence and Kedzie.
Indeed, Ulloa—who police say lived near Lawrence and Whipple—used the name “LatinKing HoyneGang” on Facebook. His profile picture shows Ulloa throwing up gang signs with friends as they sit on the North Side’s lakefront seawall.
Slightly—but only slightly—more subtle is Ulloa’s Facebook cover photo. It’s this publicity still from Al Pacino’s 1983 movie Scarface. For the unfamiliar, IMDB summarizes the Scarface plot as “a determined Cuban immigrant takes over a drug cartel while succumbing to greed.”
