Charges have been filed in connection with the stabbing that left a Boystown man hospitalized early Monday morning.
25-year-old Christopher Holmes of the 500 block of W. Aldine has been charged with one count of aggravated battery/great bodily harm, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Police say Holmes and the 28-year-old victim were drinking in an apartment at 549 W. Aldine when they began to argue. Holmes grabbed a knife and stabbed the other man several times in the back and legs.
Holmes is due in bond court this afternoon.
As CWB Chicago reported in our initial story, Holmes and the victim are co-workers at a well-known casual dining restaurant on the North Side. Holmes was cut on his right thumb during the attack and received several stitches before being charged.
