UPDATE: Sex Offender Tried To Videotape Boy At Wrigley Field Urinal, Cops Say

Gregor (Chicago Police Dept)

Chicago police today confirmed details of an alleged sexual exploitation of a 12-year-old boy inside Wrigley Field this weekend that we first reported on Sunday night.

Nichols Gregor–described by DuPage County prosecutors as having an “obsessive preoccupation with young boys” and being “every parent’s worst nightmare” during a child porn and unlawful video taping court case in 2011–is now accused of taking out a camera while he stood next to the boy at a Wrigley Field urinal trough on Saturday afternoon. He’s charged with sexual exploitation of a child, police said.

It was announced this evening that Gregor will face multiple felony charges of illegal videotaping.

The boy’s father was next to Gregor at the time of the incident, according to police.

Gregor is a 37-year-old registered sex offender who lives in Villa Park.

Our original report on the incident is HERE.

CWBChicago was created in 2013 by five residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who had grown disheartened with inaccurate information that was being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage area has expanded since then to cover Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side Areas. But our mission remains unchanged: To provide original public safety reporting with better context and greater detail than mainstream media outlets.
