Armed Robbery Of Lincoln Square Jeweler Investigated

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a jewelry store in Lincoln Square on Friday evening.

Investigators say a man walked into the Nomadic Ant, 4604 North Western, around 5:20 p.m. and placed a knife to the side of an employee’s chest. After demanding “all of the money,” the man fled southbound on Western Avenue with cash, according to a report.

The offender is described as a slender 30-35-year-old Hispanic man with a goatee who stands about 6’2” tall. He wore a black hat, a blue hoodie, and had bandages on his face.
