Now Available: 2017 Crime Analysis For Every North Side Community Area

Lake View is just one of 15 Community Area crime reports that you will receive.

They’re here!

CWBChicago’s editorial team has just published 2017 year-end crime reports for many North Side neighborhoods including Lakeview, Uptown, North Center, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, the Loop, Near North, and Near West. Additional reports will be issued this week for Albany Park, Avondale, Edgewater, Irving Park, Near South, Rogers Park, and West Town.

Each report includes an executive summary of the neighborhood’s crime performance over the past five years. We have also included a chart showing year-to-year stats for every crime category from 2013 through 2017. Are robberies increasing or decreasing in the Loop? The answers are here.

What are the challenges facing Lincoln Park? Which areas are showing the steadiest performance? We’ve researched, plotted, and analyzed them all for you

About CWBChicago 4358 Articles
CWBChicago was created in 2013 by five residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who had grown disheartened with inaccurate information that was being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage area has expanded since then to cover Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side Areas. But our mission remains unchanged: To provide original public safety reporting with better context and greater detail than mainstream media outlets.
