BOYSTOWN — A woman told police that a man took her to an alley in the 3300 block of North Halsted early Sunday where he forced her to perform a sex act, according to police. A CPD spokesman said the woman was approached by the offender near a local bar that had closed for the evening around 3:45 a.m. He took the woman to the west alley of Halsted where the assault took place, she said. Police described the offender only as a white male who fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was treated at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
WRIGLEYVILLE — Police said a Lakeview man was robbed at gunpoint in the 3400 block of North Seminary early Saturday. The man was walking when two offenders with hoodies over their heads approached him and demanded his valuables at gunpoint, according to police. The man gave the robbers a bookbag containing a laptop and his cellphone. Police described the robbers as two black men dressed in all black. They were last seen running westbound on Newport around 1:30 a.m.
WRIGLEYVILLE — A robbery victim walked into the 19th District Police station around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday and reported that he’d just been robbed of an iPhone near the Addison Red Line stop. The victim was near Wilton and Addison when two offenders strong-armed the man, police said. The offenders were described as two black males in their 20’s who stand about 5’9” tall. One of the men wore a gray hoodie. Both were last seen running westbound from Wilton.
