A 13-year-old girl today reported that a man told her to come with him to have sex as she walked in the Lincoln Park neighborhood near St. Clement School.
The girl said she was walking near the 600 block of West Deming when the man approached her a little after 3 p.m.
She said the man stated that he wanted her to come with him “to have sex.” But the girl sought help from the school and the man fled the scene, according to the report.
The offender is described as a white man between 40- and 50-years-old with gray hair and a beard. He stands about 6-feet tall and was wearing a black t-shirt and orange pants.
He was last seen heading southbound on Geneva Terrace or Orchard Street.
