Loop: FBI releases images of Chase Bank robber

The FBI has released images of a man wanted in connection with the robbery last Wednesday of the Chase Bank branch at 35 West Wacker Drive.

Police said the robber entered the bank just after 5 p.m. and passed a note to the teller that demanded money. The bank worker handed over an undetermined amount of cash, and the man fled the scene, according to police.

The FBI described the offender as a heavyset black man in his late 40’s to 50’s who stands 5’8” tall. He wore a white shirt, a brown hat, and dark shorts. Witnesses told police that the man is bowlegged.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by the FBI for information that leads directly to the offender’s arrest. Tips may be given to the FBI’s Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700.
