Chicago police arson investigators have determined that the firebug who set a series of dumpster fires in southeast Lakeview and nearby Lincoln Park between Oct. 15 and Oct. 30 struck again over the weekend.
CPD’s Arson Section this morning issued a notification in which they connected the October fires with one that was discovered in a trash can on the 500 block of West Deming at 2:46 a.m. Saturday.
CWBChicago first reported on the latest arson incident yesterday.
Police have not released any description of the arsonist other than to say that it is a man.
