Police are asking for the public’s help as they try to track down a woman who robbed a bank in Lincoln Park on Monday afternoon.
The woman walked into PNC Bank at 2600 North Halsted at 12:26 p.m. and handed a note to a teller, according to the FBI. No weapon was seen. After getting about $500, the woman fled in an unknown direction.
An FBI bulletin released Tuesday morning said the woman is black, 5’4” to 5’6” tall, 120 pounds, and in her mid-20’s.
Federal authorities are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads directly to the woman’s arrest. Anyone with information about the suspect can contact the FBI’s Chicago field office at 312-421-6700.
