Officers went to the suspect’s home on the Near South Side and found him injured. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition. No other injuries were reported.
A shell casing was recovered from the State Street apartment. Police took several people in for questioning as they tried to sort out all of the details.
