FBI seeks Streeterville bank robber

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads them to a man who tried to rob Wintrust Bank, 360 East Ohio, in Streeterville on Tuesday morning.

The man entered the bank at 9:28 a.m. and placed a robbery note on the counter, but he left before getting any money.

According to the FBI, the offender is a Hispanic man in his 20’s who stands 5’6” to 5’8” tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was wearing a black knit hat, black facemask, black hoodie, dark pants, and a black backpack.
