Chicago police are asking for the public’s help as they try to track down a violent robbery offender who attacked a passenger on a Loop subway platform this week.
Detectives released CTA surveillance images of the attacker and the robbery with the hopes that someone will recognize him.
The victim was standing on the Jackson Blue Line platform when the offender kicked and beat him and then took his black backpack at 2:17 a.m. Tuesday morning, October 6. An ambulance transported the victim to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The robber escaped by boarding a train toward O’Hare, according to a witness.
