Cops seek hit-and-run driver who left bicyclist critically injured in Avondale

Chicago police are trying to track down a hit-and-run driver who left a bicyclist critically injured in Avondale last week.

The driver and the bicyclist were both heading northbound on Kimball when the motorist ran over the biker just south of Addison around 2:21 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, police said.

An ambulance transported the bicyclist to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, according to a CPD report.

On Monday, police released a surveillance photo of the car that struck the biker, a dark gray or black 2013-2017 Buick Enclave.
