Police: Woman sexually assaulted after filming music video in Loop

Police are investigating after a woman reported being sexually assaulted in a Loop hotel after participating in a music video shoot Sunday evening.

The woman, age 21, met the performer via social media and agreed to participate in the music video, police said. The man picked her up Sunday and drove her downtown, where they joined two other women to record video scenes at various locations and the LondonHouse Hotel, 85 East Wacker, according to a CPD spokesperson and a police report.

After filming, the other two women left, and the victim accompanied the man to the hotel so he could pick something up around 10:45 p.m. The man then forcefully sexually assaulted the woman in a hotel room, the spokesperson said.

The man then drove the woman back toward her home, but she got out of the vehicle and flagged down police on the 2200 block of West Jackson around 11:30 p.m.

An ambulance transported the woman to Stroger Hospital for treatment.

Police recovered evidence from the hotel room. Area Three detectives are investigating.
