Police release photos of Loop shooting suspect

Chicago police detectives released two images of the man they say is responsible for a shooting in the Loop on Sunday morning. According to police, the suspect seen in these surveillance images shot a 40-year-old man in the leg after an argument in an alley at 490 South Wabash around 7:29 a.m.

They said the suspect is 45- to 50-years-old, has white or gray hair, and was wearing a dark hoodie with a greenish lanyard or scarf around his neck. He was last seen walking south after the shooting.

Officers at the scene on Sunday said doctors had recovered shotgun pellets from the victim. He was listed in good condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
