Chicago police released surveillance images Wednesday of a man who is wanted in connection with two armed robberies on the North Side earlier this month, including one that took place in an apartment building hallway.
Both robberies happened early on December 4, according to a tweet from CPD’s 20th (Lincoln) District.
The suspect first confronted a man in the hallway of an apartment building on the 5100 block of North Sheridan around 3:33 a.m., according to police records. He pushed the victim, brandished a gun, and took the man’s cash, a CPD report said.
Then, at 4:45 a.m., he pulled out a gun and robbed the 7-Eleven store at 1055 West Bryn Mawr in Edgewater. He escaped in a small black car after getting cash and the store’s $20 scratch-off lottery tickets.
Anyone with information about the man can contact Area Three detectives at 312-744-8263 regarding case numbers JE465524 and JE465551.
