Vulgar man is spitting on women around DePaul campuses, school says

He’s rude, tattooed, and he spits on women. And he has a man bun.

That’s the word from DePaul University’s public safety department, which issued an alert about the suspect Thursday.

The school’s safety office said it had received several reports of the man approaching women on sidewalks around DePaul’s Lincoln Park and Loop campuses.

“He makes vulgar and derogatory remarks to the victims, then spits on them,” the alert said.

DePaul said the man has tattoos on his face and covering his arms. A large multi-colored tattoo on his neck says “BEAUTE,” according to the alert.

He’s White, stocky, and has long dark hair with some gray mixed in that he sometimes wears in a bun, the school said.

The school asked its community members to call DePaul’s Loop or Lincoln Park safety offices if they see the man on campus. Victims should also file a report with CPD, the alert said.

CWBChicago was created in 2013 by five residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who had grown disheartened with inaccurate information that was being provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Our coverage area has expanded since then to cover Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side Areas. But our mission remains unchanged: To provide original public safety reporting with better context and greater detail than mainstream media outlets. Our editorial email address is news@cwbchicago.com
