FBI offers reward for Boystown bank robbery suspect

The FBI released images Tuesday of a man who allegedly robbed a Boystown bank late last week. They’re offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads directly to the man’s arrest and conviction.

According to the agency, the man robbed Byline Bank, 3639 North Broadway, on Friday. The FBI did not say what time the robbery occurred, but CPD records show cops responded to the bank at 10:03 a.m.

Officers who went to the bank said the man implied that he had a weapon during the hold-up. He stands about 6-feet tall and wore a large-faced watch on his left wrist.

He fled south on Broadway after the robbery, according to footage from a police surveillance camera.
