Police investigating two robberies in Edgewater, Rogers Park

Two armed robberies reported in Edgewater and Rogers Park early Friday morning appear to be the work of the same hold-up crew. Police have made no arrests.

The first robbery occurred near Kenmore and Ardmore in Edgewater around 12:45 a.m. The victims said three men wearing ski masks arrived in a black sedan and took their valuables at gunpoint.

About 15 minutes later, three men robbed a woman and struck her in the head near the intersection of Glenwood and Estes in Rogers Park. They escaped in a car that was driven by a fourth suspect, according to a CPD report.
