The FBI is investigating yet another bank robbery that occurred in the Loop. It’s the eighth bank hold-up in the neighborhood since May 1. Around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, a man robbed Citibank at 222 West Adams of about $1,060, according to information from a CPD report and the FBI.
The robber fled onto Franklin Street then hopped into a dark gray or black Nissan Frontier pick-up truck, according to a CPD officer who watched surveillance videos.
An FBI bulletin said the suspect, seen in the surveillance images above, is in his 50s. They are offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to his arrest and conviction.
