Cops seek suspects in connection with shooting on Red Line train in the Loop

Chicago police detectives have released CTA surveillance images of suspects who are being sought in connection with a shooting on a Red Line train in the Loop last weekend.

CPD previously said that a 30-year-old woman was shot during an argument on a train at State-Lake around 12:07 a.m. on Saturday, August 27. At least one offender escaped through an emergency exit and remains at large.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to her knee.
