Serial bank robber has struck 4 times in Logan Square, Bucktown, Irving Park: FBI

CHICAGO — The FBI Chicago field office is hunting for a serial robber responsible for four bank robberies since February 28, including two on Wednesday. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information that leads directly to his arrest and conviction.

In a bulletin issued Thursday, the FBI said the man seen in these bank surveillance photos robbed PNC Bank, 1955 North Damen Avenue in Bucktown, at 3:57 p.m. on Wednesday. Then, at 5:10 p.m., he robbed Chase Bank, located at 3204 West Irving Park Road in Irving Park.

He is also responsible for two bank robberies in Logan Square: PNC Bank at 2300 North Milwaukee Avenue around 5:25 p.m. on March 8 and Chase, 2235 North Milwaukee Avenue, at 2:09 p.m. on February 28, according to the FBI.

The agency said he is a White male in his 30s to 50s who stands 5’5″ tall.
