CHICAGO — A 13-year-old boy attacked and robbed two victims as they rode a CTA train in the Loop earlier this month, Chicago police said.

While most 13-year-olds were in bed at 1:49 a.m. on June 4, police say this one was on a Brown Line train at State and Van Buren.

There, he allegedly robbed two women, ages 24 and 25, of their phones. When the older woman tried to stop him, she fell and injured her leg, according to CPD.

Chicago police Mass Transit investigators released surveillance images of the suspect over the weekend. Cops arrested the 13-year-old yesterday.

He is charged with two counts of robbery and aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

No other details about the boy or crime are available because he is a juvenile.
