Chicago police are investigating three armed carjackings reported Monday morning, one in Noble Square and the other two occurring simultaneously in Humboldt Park.
In Noble Square, a 55-year-old man was carjacked at gunpoint in front of his condo building in the 1400 block of North Ashland around 1 a.m.
A group of masked men pulled up in a dark blue sedan and stepped out to rob and carjack the man of his gray 2021 Lexus, a CPD report said.
The report indicated that the car the group arrived in was also recently carjacked. That occurred around 3:20 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of North Western Avenue in Wicker Park.
Also on Monday, four armed men carjacked two drivers at once in the 1100 block of North California.
A CPD spokesperson said both victims were exiting their cars when the hijackers robbed them and took their vehicles.
No offender descriptions were released.
