Intruder sexually assaulted woman in Logan Square apartment, Chicago police warn

Chicago police are warning Logan Square residents after a man entered a woman’s apartment and sexually assaulted her on Wednesday morning. The offender remains on the loose.

The woman was inside her apartment in the 1900 block of North Mozart when the assailant walked in around 9:50 a.m., police said in a community alert. He forced the woman to engage in a sex act and then fled the scene, walking north toward Armitage.

CPD’s alert described the man as Black, between 20 and 30 years old, and 180 to 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green camouflage jacket with a black hood and black stripes on the left sleeve, black shorts, and black Croc-style shoes.
