CHICAGO — An armed man has robbed two convenience stores in the Loop this month, Chicago police say. Now, detectives are hoping someone will recognize him.

Police released these surveillance images of the man last night in a community alert. They say he has walked into two convenience stores and ordered the clerk to remove cash from the register at gunpoint.

He also took tobacco products and “consumable goods” from the stores before he left, according to CPD.

The robberies occurred in the first block of North Wells at 12:28 a.m. on December 4 and in the 100 block of West Madison at 11:27 p.m. on December 10.

The alert said the man was 21 to 30 years old.
